Some interesting facts about the membership over the years.
In 1914, during the WWI period, the annual membership fee was 5/-, or five shillings, equivalent in today's terms
to 25p.
Realistically; £17.20 using the retail price index, £22.72 using the GDP deflator, or £90.04 using the average earnings index.
This makes today's (2008) £2.40 to £ 4.10 fees extremely good value.

Current membership numbers stand at 326, however, like times past, some members are somewhat slow at renewing their annual
membership subscriptions.
Current users of the facilities are augmented by a number of other groups:- The Little Stars Pre-school, Exercise Classes, Taekwondo, Games Group, Table Tennis, etc...
